Gerbs began in a Rhode Island kitchen with a single batch of seasoned pumpkin seeds, roasted by two brothers, Sennen and Galen Conte, for a Halloween party. What started as a simple family snack quickly took on a much bigger meaning when families managing severe food allergies began reaching out, looking for snacks they could trust.
That’s when the mission became clear: this wasn’t just about making great food. It was about creating a safer way to snack.

As demand grew, so did the challenges. Existing manufacturing options weren’t built with allergen control in mind. So we built our own process, one rooted in small-batch production, total ingredient control, and a relentless commitment to safety.
Today, every product we offer is made with care in a Top 14 allergen-free facility. We control sourcing, roasting, packaging, and shipping, allowing us to maintain the integrity our customers count on. Every step reflects our promise to put safety, transparency, and trust first.
