EXCELLENT GLUTEN FREE PROTEIN SOURCE Hemp is nutritious, and has a mild, nutty flavor. It is exceptionally rich in two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). Hemp also contains gamma-linolenic acid, which has been linked with several health benefits. Hemp is a great protein source with more than 25% of the total calories from high-quality protein. That is considerably more than similar foods like chia seeds and flaxseeds, which provide about 16–18%. Hemp is also a great source of vitamin E and minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and zinc (1, 2).
For Ground Shipping (including free shipping orders) they must be placed by Monday 12/18 for Christmas Delivery but keep in mind there is no guarantee if there are unexpected shipping slow downs. We still encourage to select next or 2nd day UPS shipping to be 100% guaranteed.

NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF HEMP Hemp contains all the 21 known amino acids. This includes the 9 essential amino acids that the body can’t produce on its own and must take from dietary sources. Hemp seeds are one of nature’s best sources for plant-based protein. Hemp is particularly great for vegetarians following a high-protein diet. Hemp seed is considered by many to be the safest, most digestible, balanced, natural and complete source of protein, amino acids, and essential fats found anywhere in nature. Hemp is rich in healthy fats and essential fatty acids and contains high amounts of vitamin E, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and zinc.
Hemp seeds can be cooked and eaten whole. It can also be processed into Hemp milk. Edible oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids is derived from these seeds through cold-press techniques. The press cake that results from this process is then milled and ground into protein powder.
AN EXTREMELY USEFUL PLANT There are few plants such as hemp that have so many practical uses. Its bark fibers can be processed for paper and textile. Some manufacturers in the automobile and construction industries have been using this fiber in composite materials. The whole plant can also be fermented and turned into a kind of biofuel informally known as “hempoline.”
