Soooooo yummy. We get these every time we go hiking. Great snack food/chip substitute. My husband is allergic to cane/beet sugar (not a problem in these as they are salted, but we love the unsweetened line of dried fruits), and he is allergic to coconut. Since these use palm oil and not coconut oil, they are a GOD-SEND. It is soooo hard to find fried foods without coconut oil. He's also allergic to pretty much everything else on the Gerbs no-no list plus some, except fish/shellfish. We love this company and the people behind it for all the allergy friendly options!!! So grateful for all they do.

Despite their popularity in other countries, plantain chips are not as common in the United States but they are available in most large grocery stores. Yummy and crunchy Due to my food allergies I cant have a lot of crunchy snack items but these chips don’t bother my stomach and they are so tasty! I am grateful for allergy friendly food companies! I do sometimes add a little salt to them especially when hiking since they are not very salty but you can customize them by adding your own :).

Great snack - not too salty I don’t eat a lot of salt and most snacks like this are way over-salted. These are just right! A little salt for taste but still allows the natural flavor of the plantain chips to shine through. Very crunchy and great alternative to ships or crackers for dry snacking or for dipping!

Great Cracker Alternative It is a chip, but it tastes a lot like a wheat cracker. Good crunch to them. Slightly less salt than what I was hoping for, a little bit more wouldn't hurt. That said, still a great product.
