Dried pineapple is a quick and easy way to enjoy a taste of the tropics without going to the trouble of peeling and refrigerating the fresh fruit. The plant traces its origins to South America and was introduced to the Hawaiian Islands in the 16th century. Commercial production in Hawaii began in the early 20th century. Thailand, the Philippines and Brazil top the list today for worldwide production of this fruit. Through the dehydration process, fresh chunks and rings of pineapple are dried at the peak of ripeness, the dried fruit product retains all of its natural sweet flavor.
One of the most powerful substances found in pineapple is bromelain, which not only fights inflammation in the body but also aids in helping indigestion. Many people who suffer from the chronic aches and pains of aging or specific diseases such as arthritis, benefit from adding dried pineapple to their daily diet.
Half the Daily Vitamin C Requirement
Just by consuming pineapple, an individual can enjoy getting half of their daily requirement of Vitamin C, helpful for preventing colds and for strengthening the body’s overall immune system.
Women who are facing possible bone loss following menopause can benefit from discovering dried pineapple as a snack. Pineapple is also a good source of manganese which helps aid bone strength.

If properly stored, our Products will stay fresh so that you can enjoy them for an average 6-8 months. We strongly recommend storing in an airtight (dark colored/opaque) container in a cool, dark environment like a pantry or kitchen cabinet, away from direct exposure to sunlight or excessive heat like an oven. The amount of times you open the container and let in the harmful effects of oxygen will only increase the likelihood of rancidity; thus we encourage you do not empty more than 1 pound of product at a time, and to enjoy at least 1-3 ounces per day for optimal health benefits.
You can also put into Freezer Ziplocks (it should say “freezer” on box) and store in your freezer or deep freezer.
